UIC’s Institute for Research on Addictions is an interdisciplinary and collaborative community of faculty, clinicians, and research scientists working to address the major public health and societal concerns of substance misuse and addictions.

In return, members are expected to:

  • Hold a primary faculty or Research Scientist position at UIC, or a joint appointment at UIC if primary location is another institution
  • Submit an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae or NIH format biosketch annually, including a link to a publication record (this may be an NCBI “My Bibliography” link [preferred], Google Scholar, ResearcherID, Research Gate profile, etc.). We require this information to update databases and for our annual report.
  • Add UIC Institute for Research on Addictions as an affiliation for publications and acknowledge the Institute in papers and presentations if a member receives resources / funding from the Institute.

Memberships are renewed annually. You must submit an updated CV or NIH biosketch with the renewal application.
