About
Hanna Ghalyoun is a doctoral student working with Dr. Robin Mermelstein in the UIC Clinical Psychology PhD program. Hanna completed her Master’s on the associations between non-cigarette tobacco use products, mental health symptomology, and other substance use (i.e., alcohol and cannabis). Presently, she is working on her preliminary examination project, which aims to identify motives for co-use of tobacco/nicotine and cannabis (e.g., enhancement, coping, social, conformity) among young adult populations using mixed methodologies (i.e., qualitative and quantitative).
