About
Emily Jones is a graduate student in the UIC Clinical Psychology PhD program working under the mentorship of Dr. Natania Crane. Emily’s research interests revolve around understanding the unique neurobiological features and environmental factors underlying vulnerability to psychopathology, especially substance use disorders. More specifically, Emily is interested in exploring the intersectionality of exposure to trauma/adversity and substance use disorders. She is currently working on her master’s project which aims to understand how problematic cannabis use relate to alterations in neural reward circuitry.
