About
Emily Schamber is a Research Associate at the AI.Health4All Center, as a part of UIC's College of Medicine. The center's mission is to "use innovative technologies (or machine learning and artificial intelligence) and community partnership to promote health equity and improve health care services for diverse, underserved, and minority populations through clinical research and translational medicine." Some examples of our current projects include applying ML approaches for the detection of ED patients with opioid misuse, as well as using a Chicago data-driven OUD screening, engagement, treatment, and planning system.
